What is microneedling?
Microneedling uses very fine needles to create tiny, controlled channels in the skin. The skin responds by producing new collagen, which is why results build gradually over a course of treatments rather than after a single visit.

What to expect on the day
Your therapist will talk you through each step, including skin preparation, the treatment itself and aftercare. It's normal for skin to look pink or flushed afterwards, similar to mild sunburn, usually settling within a day or two.
Aftercare
- Wear a high-SPF sunscreen every day — the Lagos sun is strong, and freshly treated skin is more sensitive.
- Keep your routine gentle for a few days: no scrubs, peels or strong actives until your therapist says so.
- Don't pick at your skin, and avoid heavy make-up on the day of treatment.
